ByteFM Magazin Sophia Kennedy im Gespräch
Eigentlich wollte Sophia Kennedy Film studieren. Nachdem sie aber in Hamburg angekommen war, hat sie zwar auch Theatermusik komponiert, sich allerdings primär dem Schreiben eigener Songs gewidmet. Ihre erste Single "Angel Lagoon" hat sie zusammen mit Carsten "Erobique" Meyer aufgenommen. Ihr selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum ist 2017 auf Pampa Records, dem Label von DJ Koze, erschienen.
Am 7. Mai erscheint nun ihr zweites Album "Monsters". Im Video zur Single "I Can See You" wird ihre Liebe zum Film deutlich: Es handelt sich um eine Hommage an eine Szene aus "The Wolf Of Wall Street". "I Can See You" ist nach "Cat On My Tongue" und "Orange Tic Tac" die dritte Single des kommenden Albums.
